Ok so most of us have at the very least heard of Harry Potter and Twilight. I will start this by saying that I am a very big fan of both series of books. I am an adoring fan of the Harry Potter movies of which I have seen every last one in theaters, most with my son starting from the tender age of 3. Not such a big fan of the Twilight movies. The first one kind of ruined it for me. My son likes them though so we will continue to go see them.
I am just a bit confused. I know that Wizards go to Hogwarts. I know that Werewolves, like any other respectable were creature, turn into their animal form at the full moon. But since when do Vampires sparkle? I seem to recall a time when the sun was one of the things used to kill a vampire, not to make it all shiny and pretty. A vampire certainly would not seek out the sun unless they were trying to kill themselves.
I am all for alternate reality but there should at the very least be an explanation of why something is the way it is. I will re-iterate that I am a big fan of the Twilight series. I was glued to the pages from start to finish. My son has even read the first three books (he is waiting until the movies for Breaking Dawn come out to read that book). I just don’t understand WHY they sparkle.
Another thing I don’t understand. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Parts 1&2 were necessary. It was a massive battle and well…I will not give ANY spoilers but will say that the end of that beautiful series did need to be 2 movies so that they could give us more detail and keep more in. When it was announced that Harry Potter would be a 2 part movie, it was soon after announced that Breaking Dawn would be also. Why? There really wasn’t enough in that book to warrant 2 movies, in MHO. I dunno. Maybe I just don’t get it. Can someone please explain it to me? And PLEASE someone explain why they sparkle…..
